DGCA Pilot Dope Test Review, Air India Incident Probe, FedEx-GMR Delhi Air Cargo Hub Partnership

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation is conducting stakeholder consultations to review pilot drug testing regulations, considering mandatory annual random dope tests for all pilots across Indian airlines. The move comes as the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau continues its probe into a recent Air India flight incident, with preliminary findings expected soon. Meanwhile, a partnership between FedEx and GMR Group was announced to develop a dedicated 2.3 lakh square feet air cargo facility at Delhi Airport with an investment of 150 million dollars, aimed at expanding cargo capacity, reducing transit time, and lowering operational costs.
