Sugar Price Hike: चीनी की बढ़ी कीमतों के बीच सरकार का बड़ा फैसला...अब घटेंगे दाम ? |Pralhad Joshi | <br /> <br />चीनी की बढ़ती कीमतों के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने उपभोक्ताओं को राहत देने के लिए बड़ा कदम उठाया है... सरकार ने 10 लाख टन कच्ची चीनी के शुल्क-मुक्त आयात की अनुमति दी है... इसे 31 अक्टूबर 2026 तक आयात किया जा सकेगा। केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रहलाद जोशी के मुताबिक... देश में सालाना चीनी की जरूरत करीब 280 लाख टन है और फिलहाल 20 से 25 लाख टन अतिरिक्त स्टॉक मौजूद है। सरकार का कहना है कि गन्ने के उत्पादन में कमी के पीछे रेड रॉट बीमारी और मौसम संबंधी परिस्थितियां प्रमुख वजह हैं। त्योहारी सीजन में मांग बढ़ने से पहले सरकार बाजार में पर्याप्त आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करना चाहती है। <br /> <br /> <br />Amid rising sugar prices, the Indian government has announced a major step to strengthen domestic supplies and provide relief to consumers. The government has permitted duty-free imports of 1 million tonnes of raw sugar until October 31, 2026. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said India’s annual sugar requirement is around 28 million tonnes, while the country currently has an additional stock of around 2–2.5 million tonnes. The government attributes lower sugarcane production to factors including red rot disease and adverse weather conditions.
